The 2015 grant cycle is now closed. We are now looking at the applications and will announce recipients in December. 

Our third annual juried show, 01301/3: Melting, is now hanging at the GCC Downtown Center at 270 Main Street.

Welcome to the Greenfield Local Cultural Council!

We are dedicated first and foremost to our home community and to that end our funding priorities direct themselves to artistic endeavors that are in Greenfield and open to the public.  GLCC is deeply committed to supporting Greenfield-based artists, performers, and venues who contribute to the cultural richness of the area.

The GLCC is a member of the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Local Cultural Council (LCC) program, the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, humanities, and sciences annually. Each year, local councils award more than $2 million in grants to more than 5,000 cultural programs statewide. The program promotes the availability of rich cultural experiences for every Massachusetts citizen.
