“01301” show update

The deadline to enter the Greenfield Local Cultural Council’s first annual juried art show, 01301: Art by, for, and about Greenfield has now passed. The show was open to anyone living in Greenfield, anyone working in Greenfield, or anyone making art about or inspired by Greenfield; artists of all ages, working in any media, were encouraged to enter.

The entries have now gone to the jurors: Jen Simms, Professor of Art at Greenfield Community College; Braden Chattman, Digital Imaging Instructor at Hallmark School of Photography; Jean-Pierre Pasche, owner of Eastmont Custom Framing in Easthampton & co-creator of the Arts In the Orchard sculpture project; and Becky George, Events Manager at the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and co-organizer of the Green River Festival and the Brick and Mortar International Video Art Festival.

The show and its gala opening will be held Fall 2012, in a location to be announced at a later date.
